On World Humanitarian Day we recognize the millions around the world who are suffering and need lifesaving assistance. God sees and knows each one by name. He cares about their needs and wants them to experience hope now and for all eternity.
Today we also honor those who strive to deliver help and hope in the toughest places no matter what. Our local field teams work tirelessly to provide humanitarian aid to those who are suffering and to share hope with those who have never heard about Jesus.
Our Unto staff sat down recently to discuss the challenges our local staff teams face while serving those in need — and how they are overcoming obstacles to share help and hope in the toughest places no matter what. Watch their videos below.
Q: What are some of the challenges Unto field staff teams and partners face as they are doing humanitarian work?
Q: On World Humanitarian Day, what do you wish that others knew about humanitarian work?
Q: What motivates you — and our partners on the field — to do this work?
Share Hope on World Humanitarian Day
Today millions of people require humanitarian assistance just to survive. Even more have never heard the message of Jesus. You can help by equipping local staff teams in the toughest places with lifesaving aid to serve those who are suffering — creating opportunities for unreached people to hear about Jesus.
