Upcoming Humanitarian Projects

Thank you for your desire to show the kindness of Jesus to people in the toughest places through humanitarian aid and for your commitment to serve at the Unto Global Logistics Center (GLC).

In light of the worldwide concerns about COVID-19 our parent organization, Cru®, has restricted volunteer events until further notice. As a result of these restrictions, we are saddened to inform you that the October Mission Packing Project has been canceled and weekly opportunities have been postponed. We are developing a plan for small group opportunities starting in October. Please check this page for updates.

Despite these unexpected changes we still have aid shipments heading to tough places, and this will continue to the extent we are able so we can serve our field partners who continue to minister to people in need.

Thank you for your many hours of service that have allowed us to be ready to provide critical items at a moment’s notice — all thanks to thousands of volunteers just like you.

In this unprecedented time, may you sense the Lord’s peace and comfort. We look forward to serving with you soon!

Global Logistics Center

Expressing kindness to people in the toughest places on earth requires a process for transporting humanitarian aid to our field partners so they can serve people by meeting their physical needs. Our staff members at the Global Logistics Center (GLC), located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, process, pack, and ship humanitarian supplies to people around the world.

The GLC hosts two weekly volunteer projects. Walk-ins are welcome. If you plan to attend with a group of 10 or more, please call the logistics center in advance at 717-285-4220.

  • LuoPad cutting, tracing, and sewing — Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Blanket quilting and sewing — Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

To inquire about donating items or making cash contributions, please contact info@unto.com.

When volunteering at the logistics center, all participants must complete a liability waiver. Please visit unto.com/sign to digitally sign the applicable form.

If you prefer a paper form, you can sign a form upon arrival or download the adult waiver or minor waiver and bring the signed form with you.

Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals) are required to enter the logistics center for safety reasons.

The Global Logistics Center follows the inclement weather closure policy of Hempfield High School.

Several local hotels offer discounts for Mission Packing Project volunteers.
