Our skilled team will provide you with meaningful experiences as you serve people living in the toughest places on earth. Join us as part of our U.S.-based staff at one of our two locations: Orlando, Florida, or Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Leadership Development and Human Resources

Leadership Development/Human Resources (LDHR) Intern, Orlando, FL

The LDHR team helps shepherd and strengthen Unto internally so ministry impact is maximized. LDHR interns work on initiatives related to staff development, organizational culture, administrative systems and processes, office events, and recruiting. Everything we do is meant to help our staff members love God, love others, and labor well in their God-given role, so more and more people in the toughest places on earth will experience the kindness of Jesus.

The ideal candidate has direct ministry and spiritual leadership experience, demonstrates a heart for people, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is detail-oriented. No HR education or experience is necessary.

Campus Intern, Orlando, FL (part-time)

This person will excel in connecting the eternal hope of Jesus with humanitarian assistance domestically and internationally through campus events, Winter Conferences, and mission trips. The ideal candidate will have Cru campus experience and a desire to help Unto fulfill its mission while serving Cru campus leadership as they impact their local community and express the kindness of Jesus in the toughest places on earth. Skills needed include: communication, organization, ability to travel, and interpersonal skills.

Marketing Communications and Development

The purpose of the Marketing and Fund Development teams is to guide people into meaningful opportunities at Unto in which they feel they are significant participants in expressing the Great Commandment and advancing the Great Commission. Our mission is to engage the hearts and minds of people who have a desire to join God in His work, moving them toward active participation and long-term relationships. Our vision is that people feel a sense of relationship with Unto and our mission so they follow the ministry’s lead to participate in engagement opportunities we provide.

We seek team members who enjoy helping people engage with Unto. You will serve in an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and learning where you can use your skills to bring the kindness of Jesus to the toughest places on earth.

Communications Intern, Orlando, FL

The Communications team manages:

  • Website content
  • Email communications with the Unto audience
  • Blogging
  • Gift-in-kind and stewardship reporting for donors
  • Social Media
  • Internal Communications (as needed)

Communications Intern: Visual Media Focus, Orlando, FL

The Visual Communications team manages:

  • Storytelling through video and photography
  • Graphic design
  • Video library
  • Brand storytelling standards

Fund Development Intern, Orlando, FL

The Development team manages:

  • Relationships with donors via correspondence and telephone
  • Meaningful engagement opportunities
  • Data integrity and analytics

Humanitarian Trips

The Trips team mobilizes the body of Christ to work with international Cru® ministries and their partners to demonstrate the kindness of Jesus by relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope through humanitarian projects.

Trips Department Intern, Orlando, FL

Trips interns assist with trip planning and execution which includes defining trip strategy, developing budgets, conducting visa research, recruiting and following up with trip participants, coordinating travel arrangements, creating volunteer and cultural guides, preparing trip supplies, creating trip reports, and conducting team briefings. Trips interns will travel internationally and domestically on Unto short-term mission trips.

The ideal candidate will perform duties in the field in physically and emotionally challenging environments. The candidate will be organized, detail oriented, flexible, adaptable, have a desire to serve internationally, enjoy working with a variety of people, and can lead small teams.

Logistics and Distribution

Health Initiative/Critical Aid Intern, Mount Joy, PA

The Critical Aid Intern supports the work of international Cru partners through the Unto mobility, vision, and women’s health initiatives. You will order, process, and ship critically needed humanitarian supplies as part of the initiatives in addition to assisting with project management tasks.

PACKHOPE Experience Intern, Mount Joy, PA

The PACKHOPE Experience Intern engages churches in the greater mission of Unto as they participate in managing PACKHOPE Experience events, including negotiating contracts and leading humanitarian aid packing events around the region.

Volunteer Services Intern, Mount Joy, PA

The Volunteer Services Intern engages and works with volunteers during aid packing events. The intern helps the Unto team develop and grow the Unto Volunteer Initiative to collect, create, and process even more humanitarian aid for people in the toughest places on earth.

Operations Intern, Mount Joy, PA

The Operations Intern is a key part of a global, non-profit humanitarian aid systems-and-delivery operation that serves people in more than 30 countries. You will assist in receiving, processing, inventory management, storing, and shipping humanitarian aid to some of the toughest places on earth.
