Will You Wait2Hydrate?

You Can Make a Difference About the Lack of Clean Water People Face

Women and children in the toughest places walk an average of 1-2 hours a day — and often much more — to collect water for their families. Many times, the water they collect is not even clean.

In the face of such suffering, what can you really do to make a difference?

This year for World Water Day, we invite you to take the Wait2Hydrate challenge. Simply wait two hours after waking to take your first drink of any beverage. Or take it a step further by not using water in any way to start your day.

Need some inspiration? Here are just a few of the people who have joined the challenge this year and what that experience meant to them.

The Wait2Hydrate challenge is designed to bring awareness to the lack of clean water millions experience daily. When you join the challenge, consider using your time to pray for those who do not have clean water — or access to the message of Jesus. After you are finished, you can also do more to help those in need.
