In the evening hours of September 8, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Morocco — the strongest earthquake to hit the country in 120 years. Over 2,000 have lost their lives, and the death toll is expected to rise as entire communities are covered in rubble. The earthquake has caused devastation in many mountainous villages, making search and rescue efforts even more difficult.
Unto® is working with local partners in Morocco to assess needs and provide humanitarian aid and support. With an extensive network on the ground, we are uniquely positioned to relieve suffering through humanitarian aid.
