More than 1.9 million people face life-threatening, catastrophic conditions. Millions more are at risk as they face acute food insecurity and hunger.

Currently, famine is sweeping across parts of Sudan. Civil war has intensified, claiming the lives of more than 150,000 people and forcing more than 14 million from their homes. Many families have fled the country and have sought refuge in neighboring South Sudan. But they too are facing a severe food crisis.
Our local staff teams in South Sudan are working hard to help families with very little support or assistance. They are distributing meals in Sudanese refugee camps. They are also taking meals to orphans, widows and the elderly — many of whom are often overlooked or forgotten by society.
Together, we can provide the lifesaving meals hungry families so urgently need. And we can introduce them to the One who sees and cares for their needs.
