We also help create opportunities for our local staff teams and partners to share the message of Jesus and establish new churches in previously unreached areas. Our teams often report that clean water is one of the best ways for them to gain access to new people groups, build credibility with local authorities, and increase their ministry effectiveness. At nearly every well-opening ceremony, the message of Jesus is shared. New churches are often established nearby.
This year, local teams plan to drill or repair 106 water wells in 18 countries. In many areas where our teams will be working, people have little access to the message of Jesus. There are often very few churches. But your support will help change that by giving people access to clean water and hope.
