Vision Clinic
Restoring Sight and Revealing Hope in Vietnam
Help fund a Vision Clinic taking place in Vietnam in August 2026
Restore Clear Sight Through the Vietnam Vision Clinic
Across remote regions of Vietnam, many people lack access to basic eye care, even though clear vision is essential for the labor-intensive work that supports their families. At the same time, evangelism is highly restricted outside church buildings, making traditional outreach risky. To meet both physical and spiritual needs, Unto® and the Cru® Global Church Movement will host vision clinics inside local churches, where trained staff will test vision, provide eyeglasses and create opportunities for gospel conversations with people from unreached people groups.
Since the first clinic in 2019, these events have helped local believers gain credibility with government authorities and expand ministry opportunities. In fact, officials who once required clinics to be monitored in government buildings now allow them to take place in churches — and even attend themselves. As a result, vision clinics have become a unique and effective outreach tool by:
-
Serving practical community needs
-
Creating safe opportunities to share the gospel
-
Increasing visibility and trust in the local church
This project is expected to serve approximately 3,000 people. Local pastors and ministry staff will collect contact information and follow up through home visits and invitations to church services. By meeting a basic need first, these clinics provide a trusted pathway for evangelism, discipleship and strengthening the local church across Vietnam.
