If only the month is listed, exact dates are to be determined.
Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or sandals) are required to enter the logistics center for safety reasons.

Team size varies based on the destination and the strategy for that trip.
The trip cost typically includes all in-country transportation, shared hotel or dormitory accommodations, three meals a day (plus drinking water), interpreter services, in-country visa fees, emergency evacuation assistance, and all taxes, tips, and fees. The trip cost does not usually include airfare, pre-trip visa fees (if required), passport costs, immunizations or medications, baggage charges (unless you are asked to carry a bag of Unto aid), trip cancellation insurance, airport meals, or personal gifts/snacks.
No. Unto will plan travel and provide an airline itinerary through their travel agents. You will be sent the information to contact the travel agent and purchase your ticket. Through the agent, you can arrange both domestic and international travel, which often reduces cost and allows you to book “through” travel from your home airport while still traveling with the team internationally.
Participants and their supporters can pay by credit card through the participant’s giving page or by phone. Payments can also be made by check. All payments and donations are tax-deductible and non-refundable.
All contributions to Unto are income tax deductible and made with the understanding that Unto has complete discretion and control over the use of donated funds. If you cannot go or more funds than needed are raised, Unto will consult with you to decide whether the funds will be held for a future trip, used for trip-related expenses, or given as a general donation to Unto Humanitarian Trips.
Your trip leader’s primary responsibility is the safety of the team. Unto stays in touch with the U.S. State Department for safety updates and monitors conditions while overseas. Though the world can be complex, Unto does not include what they consider unnecessary risks in the trip locations or activities. All trip leaders are experienced in international ministry and trained in crisis management and CPR/first aid. A crisis manager is on call in the U.S. at all times, and contingency plans are in place before each trip begins. Emergency evacuation coverage and supplemental health coverage are included in the cost of the trip.
In most cases, the team will meet at the international departure airport in the U.S. and fly together to the destination country. Most trips do not require pre-trip preparation or meetings as a team. If pre-trip preparation is required, the trip leader will provide that information before you are accepted for the trip. Some leaders may schedule a group call before departure for team introductions. Your trip leader will stay in touch as you prepare for the trip.
Accommodations vary by country. Teams typically stay in hotels or guest houses recommended by local hosts. Rooms are usually shared by two people of the same gender or spouses. Single rooms may be available for an additional supplement fee.
In most areas where Unto serves, it is not possible to accommodate special dietary needs.
All available trips are listed on the website. If you do not see a trip that works for you, you can contact trips@unto.com to receive future updates. New trips are added all the time.
