FOOD AND AGRICULTURE
Bring Nutrition to People Facing Hunger
Tonight millions of people will go to bed hungry — not knowing where their next meal will come from. They need help and hope now.
OUR APPROACH
Together we can help meet the nutritional needs of those facing hunger — and tell them about Jesus.
Meals
People facing acute food insecurity and famine need help now. Local staff teams distribute lifesaving meals that provide essential nutrition so impoverished children and families can survive and thrive. Through meal distributions, local feeding programs, special outreaches and more, local staff are able to build relationships with those served and share the message of hope.
Agriculture Workshops
Communities need sustainable solutions to persistent hunger. Agriculture workshops enable local staff to provide practical training on growing productive vegetable gardens and raising egg-laying chickens, goats and other animals for food and income. Each workshop provides sustainable solutions to the hunger communities face and introduces unreached people to Jesus.
Farming Resources
In the toughest places, people need appropriate technologies and resources to help them address chronic hunger. Together, we provide irrigation systems that maximize available water for year-round production. We source new and locally grown seeds. We also provide incubators to help families raise their own chicks. Through sustainable, humanitarian projects, we are expressing kindness to those in need.
