Helping hurting people find hope and healing in Jesus
Around the world, suffering people have little access to personal, ministry care. Those facing trauma, persecution, disaster, war and other crises need help processing what they have endured.
Ministry to the Brokenhearted equips local staff teams serving in the toughest places to provide emotional care to those who are hurting. Through the ministry of presence, they are able to sit and listen to those who have endured so much. They can also help people address their “heart wounds” so they can experience healing and hope in Jesus.
This year, Unto® plans to provide Ministry to the Brokenhearted training to staff teams in four countries. In each location, people have endured the effects of war, disaster and persecution. Every country where our team will serve is also extremely closed to the message of Jesus.
Your gift today will help equip staff teams to minister to those who are suffering. During the training, local staff learn to address their own heart wounds. Many of our local teams have endured so much and need care themselves. As they personally experience healing, they will be equipped to also offer help and hope to others.
In closed countries and other tough places, the ministry of presence and emotional care provides a unique opportunity to support those who are hurting. It also allows our staff to build relationships and point people to Jesus as the One who heals the brokenhearted.
