In many of these areas, families face the effects of armed conflict, natural disasters, economic shocks, and more. Most have also never heard about Jesus.
Providing lifesaving aid allows local missionaries to access the unreached. It helps them build credibility with local authorities, and it increases their ministry effectiveness. Many times, humanitarian aid is the only reason missionary work is allowed to continue in closed countries and other hard-to-reach areas.
